Michael has a background in technology, receiving his B.S. in Computer
Engineering from the University of Washington in 2002. During his
schooling, Michael worked for IBM and Rational Software, but always had dreams of one day running his own company.
Although Michael tends to work too hard, he enjoys volunteering in the community, scheming new business ideas, travel, and cracking the whip in the office.
Sam has been involved with web design since 1998, when he first dialed up to the internet. Since he joined BlueTux in 2003, he has been able to experience design and the new media, his two passions, while being paid to sound like he knows what he’s talking about... paradise.
With his love for making things simpler, he strives to make his Web sites stylish yet efficient. When he’s not fine-tuning a Web site or helping create ground breaking web applications, you can spot him discovering new music, or updating his personal website.
You can predict him to be experimenting with the latest design trends on a daily basis.
Sam is actively involved in his community and is a member of the Oak Harbor Rotary - a great organization with many successful projects.
Cody joined the team in April of 2005. As the newest member of the team Cody handles client relations for our existing customers. He has been working in the technology field for a few years providing a well-rounded knowledge of computers both inside and out.
Although Cody tends to not work too hard, he enjoys hiking, spending time at the lake, and being as far away from the office on the weekends as possible.
Derek graduated with a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Washington. His professional experiences include working for business and technology consulting firm Accenture, ChevronTexaco, and starting a few companies along the way. Derek has a deep passion for children's advocacy and general community involvement.
Derek’s passion and business operations experience are key instruments as BlueTux begins to provide additional offerings to our customers and expand into new markets.
Our team extends well beyond the walls at the office and we don't hesitate to utilize the talents of folks near and far. Our many consultants, contractors, and friends all contribute the success (by keeping us focused!) of each project.
